It might not be a trend we're all that keen to follow when spring comes around, but Charlotte Tilbury's work on the Zac Posen models at Thursday's NY Fashion Week show certainly had heads turning. Instead of sticking to tradition with golds and bronzes, Tilbury opted for a dazzling purple lip to take spring's biggest beauty trend to a futuristic level - contrasting the shocking metallic lilacs with a dewy, highlighted complexion. Speaking to WWD, Tilbury said, "I'm seeing pastels and metallics as the make-up trends of the season... Shine and shimmer make lips look bigger because they catch the light so effectively."
