Controversial photographer David Hamilton was the starting point for the Derek Lam beauty inspiration this season - as MAC artist Tom Pecheux hoped to capture the beautiful soft-focus effect of the girls in his film Bilitis. "The look is sensual," he said, "and at the same time fresh and modern." Pecheux used stacks of nudes, taupes and browns to create the bronzed, soft-edged effect, including MAC's Yoghurt and Paradisco Eye Shadows on the models' lips.
